Manor Tool & Manufacturing is able to tap threads during the progressive die stamping process, eliminating the need for secondary operations. In this example, a brass part is produced using multiple stations within the stamping die. As the material moves through the press, each station progressively forms the part while designated stations tap holes to create the threading required for the finished component.
