Metal stamping dies begin with digital design using AutoCAD and NX software. From there, we create a 3D model and simulate the tooling path before producing the die on one of our Haas CNC machines.
Metal stamping dies are first designed using our AutoCAD and NX software systems. Using MasterCAM software, we create a 3D model of the die and simulate the tooling path required to produce the component.
This data is then loaded into one of our Haas CNC machines for machining. Before cutting the final die, the CNC tooling path is tested on wax to verify the geometry and ensure the program performs as expected.
Once the design and tooling path are approved, the stamping die components are machined from tool steel using the same CNC program. These completed dies are then ready to be used in our metal stamping processes.
